A campus with four buildings is being constructed for the federal administration in Zollikofen in the “Meilen” area. The Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (BBL) celebrated the completion of the first new construction as early as in 2013. The second construction phase ended in July 2021. All of the previous development has consistently been a hallmark of sustainability. It is certified according to the Minergie-P-ECO^® label and meets the “GI gutes Innenraumklima^®” (requirements, which certifies contaminant-free ambient air in the building). These standards are also maintained in the third construction phase, which has begun in May 2020 and is expected to last until June 2023.
